Dangerous Components

Not all dangerous goods can be easily identified. Regular items declared by passengers and shippers may contain unidentified dangerous goods and such items may also be carried in mail or baggage. For this reason, it is necessary to have a better understanding what dangerous goods are. In the case of shipment or receipt of cargo, mail, baggage or items loaded in the aircraft by the carrier, a careful check shall be made to confirm their properties prior to any other operation. If there is any doubt, caution should be applied in any further steps.

Empty cylinder (pressure reading is zero) could be accepted for carriage. Diving lights could contain rechargeable lead-acid battery and high-intensity diving light could generate large amounts of heat when illuminated. For the sake of safety, battery and light bulb must be removed.
DRILLING AND MINING EQUIPMENT —— It could contain explosives or other dangerous goods.
Dry Shipper —— It could contain free liquid nitrogen. It is accepted for carriage only if it is packed in such a way as to prevent the liquid nitrogen from leaking no matter how it is placed.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT —— It could contain magnetic substances, mercury in the drive device and electron tube, or wet cell battery.
ELECTRICALLY POWERED APPARATUS(WHEEL CHAIRS,LAWN MOWERS,GOLF CARTS,ETC) —— It could contain wet cell battery.
