Air China Officially Launches Beijing-Chengdu and Beijing-Chongqing Air Express ServiceHome > About Us > Air China News > Air China Officially Launches Beijing-Chengdu and Beijing-Chongqing Air Express Service On April 23, 2009, Air China held a press conference at the Renaissance Beijing Hotel to announce the official launching of the Beijing – Chengdu and Beijing – Chongqing Air Express service to take place on April 28, 2009. With fast and convenient flights connecting the economic region of Chengdu and Chongqing to Beijing, the two express routes are expected to boost the economic development of the southwestern region and facilitate passenger travel at the same time. The Air Express service of Air China boasts several features, of which speed and convenience are the best qualities: 1) Regular departures and many flights 2) Exclusive service zones to minimize passenger hassle 3) Flight tickets readily available at the airport to improve travel efficiency 4) Free connection linking Chengdu and Chongqing to strengthen interactions between the two cities In addition, Air China has also launched flights that depart on the hour or every half hour intervals from Beijing to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hangzhou, with more than 122 flights daily. Air China will continue to leverage its powerful flight network and air hubs to provide passengers with more a comfortable and convenient traveling experience.
